We’re up to about two feet of snow on the ground. That does not include, of course, the (higher) drifts and snow banks hither and thither, including along our driveway. Almost looks more like a white tunnel these days.
A few more inches of snow both Monday and Tuesday followed by an unexpected six inches late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning. I had a firm appointment early-ish Thursday morning so we shoveled strategically. The Subaru still got stuck–the first time ev-er (thank you, Subaru, for working so well so much of the time). More shoveling and I was able to get out fairly easily, but still.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a slight reprieve from the cold temperatures and additional snow, but Sunday is the first of several days of cold and snow–again.
Yup. It’s winter. No question.
